Delete Your Data

Delete your Play2College account

Sign in, open Edit Profile from the menu under your name, and choose Delete Account at the bottom of the page. Once you type DELETE to confirm, your account and the data linked to it are deleted straight away:

• Your profile, photos and videos
• Your college list, with its ratings, notes and contact log
• Your offers, appointments and calendar feeds
• Your follower connections, and notes or suggestions you left on anyone else's list
• Your stories, reviews and support tickets

What you wrote on the forum stays, shown as from a deleted user, so the conversations still make sense to the people who replied. We send a confirmation to your email address.

If you cannot sign in, email support@play2college.com from the address you sign in with (your Google or Microsoft email), or use the contact form and tell us which email you sign in with. We delete your account within 30 days and reply when it is done. Copies in our backups are removed on the backup schedule, and we keep only what the law requires us to keep.

If you commented on our Instagram

We use Meta's Instagram API only to run our own account, @play.2.college: to publish our posts and to answer comments on them. You cannot sign in to Play2College with Facebook or Instagram, so none of your Facebook or Instagram data is linked to a Play2College account.

When you comment on one of our recent posts, our tool reads the comment and your username. If the comment contains the word DEMO, we send you the link in one direct message and reply under your comment. We do not copy your comments, messages or profile into Play2College. We keep the ID of each comment we answered, so we never answer twice, and our run logs show the username we replied to. Those logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.

To have it removed, delete your comment on Instagram and email support@play2college.com with your Instagram username. We delete what we hold within 30 days.
