Important Notes

Men's and Women's rankings are calculated independently. A college may excel in one program but not the other.
Conference realignment is reflected. Houston (Big 12), SMU (ACC), and other recently realigned programs use current conference affiliations.
Division II colleges are rated on a separate scale appropriate to D2 competition levels (typically 3-8 range).
Rankings are updated seasonally as new NET ranking data becomes available.
